The Ted Cruz campaign has promised a “major announcement” for this afternoon at 4pm.
Speculation about the announcement has ranged from Cruz dropping out to a major endorsement.
However, within the last hour or so, reports that Fiorina has been spotted in Indiana have been hitting the web news outlets.
“Sources” have also confirmed to reporters that the announcement will be Cruz’s pick of Fiorina for the VP slot if he is nominated.
Is this an act of desperation? I would say after his trouncing by Trump last night, the answer would have to be yes. But, it may well help him stop Trump, which is all he can do now that he has been mathematically eliminated from reaching 1237 himself.

Sources confirmed to WMUR political director Josh McElveen and political reporter John DiStaso that Fiorina, who has been a supporter of Cruz for several weeks, will be the focus of the announcement that Cruz intends to make in Indiana Wednesday afternoon.
